SRMGI has been the product of a global community and our work is only made possible thanks to the contributions of volunteers from around the world.
We extend our congratulations to Wilfred Francis Domingo and Olabi Léonard Worou from Benin. Along with José Ricardo Kouakou from Côte d’Ivoire, they became the first African students to defend master’s theses on SRM in 2019.
In October, Dr Leonardo Clarke presented his research at a conference of the Coordinated Regional Downscaling Experiment initiative (CORDEX) in Beijing with support from SRMGI.
From 12-16 August, Beijing Normal University held a week-long summer school focused on modelling the impacts that SRM could have on developing countries.
